KIMBERLY
BREEN has
a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology and chemistry, and is currently
working on a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. Kim is a
certified vet technician, and is also a HAS certified trainer.
Kim has over 20 years of experience riding and training
horses, and teaching students. She is currently competing
nationally in jumpers and eventers.
Kim brings with her a wealth of experience. A manager and trainer,
she has run many stables over the years, including a 90 horse
hunter, jumper and dressage stable. Kim’s extensive professional
background allows her to maintain detailed records of equine diet,
medications and health and well being of all of Greenbriar’s horses
and ponies. She can also provide basic veterinary care, as well as
animal observation, and the implementation of behavioral and
environmental enrichment for the horses and ponies.
Kim has an exceptional talent for training green hunters and
jumpers. She also possesses a unique teaching style that enables
her to instill confidence in both the novice and experienced rider.
Kim has the rare talent for putting her students at ease, while at
the same time subtly pushing them to greater accomplishments,
whether it be in the show ring or in daily lessons.

Greenbrair is also home to the Greenbriar Combined Derby™,
an exciting event consisting of a dressage test followed by a cross
country course combining both stadium jumps and cross county fences.
There are up to 22 obstacles on the course for the beginner through to
advanced levels, including a 123' x 30' bank complex, 3 ditch
complexes, one measuring, 72' x 24' and the others 6' x 14', and a
state of the art 57' x 39' water complex having the option of jumps,
or gentle slopes in and out, or a causeway.
Greenbriar's cross-country schooling course adheres to USEA rules and
regulations. It is a 3/4 mile course that was designed by Don Sachey.
Don is an AHSA Licensed "r" Cross Country Course Designer. Don trained
with USET and won Team Gold in the 3-Day Event World Championships in
Burghley, England. He is a Certified Instructor, a US Pony Club "A"
Prep Clinician, US Pony Club National Rally Judge, and the Japanese
Equestrian Federation 3-Day Event Team National Coach since 1985. Don
is a current member of USCTA Instructors' Certification Committee. He
instructs world wide, including, England, Japan and Puerto Rico.
